Quick sketch at my desk today: glam stapler and pen.  That's just how I roll.

Obsessed with knitting at the moment.  Working on a design for charity knitting, more on that soon.  Got a bunch of fab friends to donate yarn for the project, and I'm itching to knit tonight.  Even talked about starting a knitting club with friends, and I'm resurrecting the knitting club at work, newly dubbed SKA (Summer Knitting Alliance).  This sweltering hot, super humid summer makes it almost as difficult to be outdoors as winter in Chicago, so we'll stay indoors at lunch and knit. 

I like a hot summer, but this is too hot, even for me.  When you're barely dragging around and can barely breathe, you know your summer is too hot and too humid!  I must be itching to knit from spending too much time in the cold, air conditioned indoors.  So be it!

So I lied about more on the charity knitted stuffed bear today. But I'll have more on it next weekend hopefully.

10 min burn.  Pencil and pen on butcher paper.  This is lucky 13 -- my lucky number.  Didn't have my sketchbook with me, so this is my 50-Shades-book-cover-turned-sketchbook ... a book that most definitely requires a modest cover, the only modest thing about it. 

Got some new watercolor pencils yesterday, totally in an orange/pink mood today.  Just a dry run today, still hunting down my watercolor brushes to fully test them out.  Might have to revisit this one and see what happens to it when I add water ...

5 min burn. Pen on paper. Didn't feel much like sketching today. Got busy cleaning and kept forgetting about it. This is my fave mug, this aqua clay mug I got at the Renegade fair, and now I use it all the time for water. I think water tastes better out of it.

Nice and chill day, lots of cleaning while watching movies. Nice wrap up to a good weekend. And it's already July ...
